HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1926-2022
On behalf of Easington Village Parish Council, it is with great sadness that we join the nation in mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and condolences are with members of the Royal Family.
Flags will be flown at half-mast in the Village until the day following the funeral,
A Book of Condolence is available in Seaton Holme, during our office hours, usually 9.30am – 1.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 8.30am -12.30 on Wednesday.
As a mark of respect, all Official Council events have been cancelled during the period of National mourning.

Village Green Play Area
The Parish Council is pleased to announce that following its successful application for replacement play equipment in the village Section 106 funding was granted.
The new equipment will replace some of the older pieces of equipment with updated pieces of play equipment for age ranges 2-12 and will inclusive play included.
It is anticipated that the works will commence week beginning 22nd March 2021 and last for approximately 2 weeks.

Corona Virus (Covid-19)
The Parish Council have been following national guidance in relation to the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) with our priority being the health, safety and well-being of everyone who may use our facilities and services.
Seaton Holme community facilities are open in line with Government Guidance.
The Village Green Play Area is open and users should adhere to Government Guidelines for safe usage.
Durham Lane Cemetery is open to visitors who are required to follow the Government’s advice regarding social distancing. We will continue to undertake our duties as a burial authority.
